Better late than never, it only took about 40 years. Ringo Starr said he doesn't care. They took over 300 years to forgive Galileo, so I guess this is fast for them. Maybe in another 30 years they'll forgive the Rolling Stones. Hopefully they will never forgive rap!

Last year I attended a Ringo Star concert at Radio City Music Hall. He annually tours with an "All Star Band" .It was a fun night. My wife and daughter have been to this twice before and are going to this year's concert also. We love the Beatles music . I think they are
2nd best next to Elvis in the history of Rock and Role . I had all their albums and my daughter has every Beatle song she can find downloaded on her iPod.

It was simply a gesture on the part of the church .If Ringo is going to be a jerk about it then so be it.

Were any of the beatles even catholic? If not, then what right does the catholic church have to pass judgment on them one way or the other. Even if one of them were catholic, they would only have the right to judge that member, within the confines of their religious beliefs and system.

No church, or organization, has the right to pass judgment on non-members. It's simply not realistic, or fair, to expect someone to live by rules and beliefs they don't believe in.

Nobody knew John Lennons' heart. Only God does.. He is a just God.
Look at some of your well respected, and I use the term lightly, so called Ministers like Pat Robertson... Saying The song "Imagine" was sacrilegious and it should have been banned... IT WAS A SONG.. John sang the song from the point of view of just that, to make a point of how the world would be. I don't agree with the statement they were more popular than Jesus Christ... He' the only King.
