Well I had my transformer replaced by someone, my home unit is a lennox cb26uh air handler. The ac was working fine until then and the problem for fixing the transformer was that the blower was not kicking on, so that got fixed. Now that the temp. heating up outside I wanted to use the ac checked everything breaker, thermo and curcuits all OK
I remember that the guy said had extra wires connected and he was going to cap them.
So when I checked today there is red and white wires disconnected coming off the transformer? Could someone tell me what the colors on the wires mean?

It is probably a universal tranformer. The extra wire are for different voltages like 115 or 240, 208
