My ex violated a protection/restrain order now 3 times. 1st time she went to jail bonded on 70k, now in jail on a 200k bond this person threatened our 10 yr old son on the phone. There r 9 3rd degree felony charges pending, aggrav stalk, tamper with witness, contempt of court etc,, this all stemmed from a dv pending case.
My question is, jail time and how much, do the judges go easy on women even if there were multiple threats and witness now? Help.
P.s. There restrain order was for me and my son.

I don't know what State you are in but in NY (where I am) the Court does not look at men who violate and women who violate in different ways.

No way to know about jail time - only the Judge knows.

I wish I could say GA was that way, but women often get much lesser sentence and probation a lot easier than men. One looks at the 3 or 4 women prisons to the 30 or so men prison.

At the end of the day, first she has to be convicted, and it will be up to the judge

They actually did a study in NY - I'll have to see if I can find it - because an organization of fathers was claiming women had an unfair advantage.

I'll try to dig it up.
