I am so excited. It is my fourth year of Dragonboating and the ice is out on Lake Ontario so our first practice is next weekend. You can't believe how great this sport is, super cardio workout on the upper body.

We compete all over Ontario throughout the summer and our first international competition is in Malaysia this coming year.

I never heard of it until today. Looks like a lot of fun.

Dragonboat Racing is an Olympic sport now. Yes, thanks guys, it is a lot of fun, but only for people who like that kind of strong acitivity out on the water. In Ontario it is a well known competitive sport.

Dragon boating? I'd never heard of it either... but I like the mental image it conjures up. Sort of like punting slowly down an English river sitting on a sparkly dragon whilst it puffs out plumes of fire and smoke.

Anyway, sounds like fun, but my preference is to sit in my local Dragonboat restaurant gaining calories rather then burning them up!
