Generally, (1) fees for services, and (2) a lending spread (excess of interest charged on loans over the rate the bank pays to depositors for those same funds).
A bank may also have subsidiaries or affiliates in such activities as insurance products, investment brokerage, etc.

Profits from investing the money it takes in.
Interest on money it puts into interest bearing investments
Fees for services
Interest it gets from money it loans to people, credit card interest if they issue credit cards
