Greetings all,
I've read through previous posts about this 3 blink error code and can't seem to find one relevant to what's happening to my furnace. It is a goodman ac/heater combo. The AC works fine, after being repaired over the summer with what I was told "a new blower and circuit board." since its gotten colder, the heat no longer works.
When the thermostat is set, the heating element glows red, but the buners never light. The circuit board shows the 3 blink pattern, indicating a "venter pressure switch/ vent blockage"
When I manually apply suction on the pressure switch then the inducer seems to start up, and eventually the burners light.
What I am wondering is if the inducer is supposed to start up first, to create the suction that would eventually trigger the switch?
Currently, there is no mechanical action going on except the 3 blinks and heating element UNLESS I trigger the pressure switch myself.
Any help is appreciated.
