I want to file the answer to motion for judgement but what should I say?
This same lawyer office has already put a writ for garnishment on my wages and has been taken them since oct 2009. I don't even know what is left to the balance. I've wrote them asking them for the balance and of course no response from them. Now they are filing another judgement against me before the first one if even paid. Its' Miland credit management and the law firm is Bursey and Associates in Tucson,az
Please help me I don't want them to garnish my wages again. Should I ask for a copy of the original contract?
Thanks c

What are they suing you for? Unpaid debt (would be my guess).

What is your defense?

If you use the search feature you will see this has been asked/answered a thousand times.

This is a different debt, right? If so, it doesn't matter which law office is doing it.

Yes. Send them a discovery request demanding the signed contract, as well as an accounting (this debt, not the other one). In the mean time, file an answer denying the debt pending such discovery responses.
