Ran a snake through pipe for much of the day. After 60 feet, I cannot go any further due to blockage. Only dirt and grass comes back. After first, we did get roots, but not now its grass and black dirt. I assume we have a collasped pipe. Can see clean out in front yard but pipe in house is under concrete floor and goes to left before it must go to right to exit to front yard, so I can't see when it turns right to exit into front yard.

I'd say yes, you have a broken pipe. Are you snaking from clean out or inside the house? If you are snaking from clean out, snake may be going back into the house.
Tree roots indicate broken pipe, grass and black dirt indicate that either the pipe is very close to top of ground or snake is coming out of the pipe at the break and coming up toward the surface. Grass roots do grow very deep.
If you mean actual grass and not grass roots look for the place that the snake is coming out of the ground.

Are you on ccity sewer or a septic tank? I wouldn't worry about the pipes in the house. 60 feet out you have a pipe that has to be dug up and replaced. Get three estimates and go with the one you're most comfortable with. Good luck, Tom
