What are the main differences between a specific job description and general job description

A general job description is one which is written to cover several employees within a company. It could be written to cover a call center, an IS department, any place where one job description will work for multiple employees.
A specific job description would be for a job that is for a specific one person job such as an inventory control specialist or manager of human resources.
