Hi,

I'm about at my wits end with this car. A problem that I'm having even after it was worked on is that when it cranks it's idling high, but when I go to restart it again after taking a short trip - it won't start. The car was taken to a mechanic with this problem and it was fixed initially and ran fine for a few days, but now it's like it was never fixed in the first place.

Codes were checked, not getting any which I think is strange.

Things that were fixed/replaced (some might not be related to problem):

02 sensor
Exhaust manifold/gasket
Speed sensor
Vtech switch
Vtec gaskets
RT axle
Distributor O ring
Coolant Temperature Sensor
Top and Bottom Radiator hoses
Radiator Cap

Is there anything that was overlooked? Appreciate any help/suggestions.

Oh if it helps it's an automatic.

. If the Check Engine Light comes on and goes off after two seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

. Remove the 7.5A Back Up fuse, located in the under hood fuse box, for 10 seconds, to clear any codes and reset the ECM.

. Adjust idle speed to 700 rpm.

Thanks for the help. Going to have it worked on this weekend.

Adjust idle speed to 700 rpm.

I'm not sure about this part. Does it have to do with the way to press the gas pedal?

No. The throttle cable can be adjusted, if necessary.
