Hi, is it easy to set up a web forum, similar to this one, I just purchased a webspace?

There are plenty of Bulletin Boards (http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial_s&hl=en&q=Bulletin+Boards&meta=&btnG=Google+Search) available on the net, but a forum such as this takes a lot of managing on a day to day basis.

SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/)is a very popular - and therefore well supported - one, and it is free.
AskMeHelpDesk is run by vBulletin (http://www.vbulletin.com), fyi.

Also, check with your web-host. If your host uses Fantastico, check there for what they offer for easy installs and setup.

(I don't know anything about IPB - except that I've heard a few complain that can be very resource intensive on servers)
