I'm assuming that it's your house that's haunted, not your hose. ;)

I don't think there are any legitimate websites for that. Your best bet is Google and then research. Any site that asks you to pay for the info, I'd avoid them, sounds like a scam to me.

It wouldn't hurt to go to your local library either. Usually they'll have some records of older newspapers and such. You might be able to pull up some older articles to see if anyone has passed in your home before you moved in.

Go to your local library or village/county museum. They keep records and photos on file of the history of the houses and businesses in the area they serve. If anyone will know about ghosts, they will. One suburb near me has a resident ghost mom and baby. Their house is now a bar and restaurant, so you can imagine the fun when "mom ghost" lets loose!
