I have 2 bathrooms, both with outlets, can I run the power to a GFC in the first bathroom and then to a regular outlet in the second bathroom? Does this conform to code, or must I put them on separate circuits each with a GFC outlet?

You are correct. You can use either a GFCI Breaker to protect the receptacles in both bathrooms or you can use a GFCI breaker in one bathroom that provides downstream protection for the receptacle in the second bathroom.

Although it is permissible to put lighting on the same circuit as the receptacles, you will be standing in the dark if either the breaker or GFCI trips.

You might want to consider putting the lights on a 15 amp circuit and the receptacles on a 20 amp circuit.

Hairdryers can easily kill a circuit.
