Our grandson has been found possessing 9 vicodin pills not perscribed to him. Probably prescribed to his mother. He has been advised to plead guilty and do 2 years of probation with a probation officer located a long way from where he lives. I would like to know something about this probation officers record. How can I find this info.

Why would you concern yourself over the probation officer's record? It's your grandson who you should concern yourself over. He's the one who is on probation and must toe the line - the PO is just going to make sure he toes the line. Most PO's must pass criminal background checks and have some training to do their job correctly. It's not like the PO was a former burger flipper at BK and now miraculously got a job as a PO.

Something does ot sound correct, in the plea deal with the court, they never specify what PO you will get. He will originally be assigned to a PO office ( not a specific PO) in the area where he was arrested and charged ( and court is at )

If he lives somewhere else he can work with the court to be re-assigned to a PO office nearer him.

And no, there are no records you can search on a specific PO
