I sent back leased equipment shortly after receiving the equipment. Is there any laws regulating contractual agreements for equipment?

Hello DD:

Yes, but they're not criminal. They're civil. If you don't stick to the agreement you made, you can be sued.

Did you get permission, maybe a RA to return the equipment.

Was the lease with the seller or was the lease though a 3rd party leasing company.

For example If I owned a company and you "leased it" in fact the leasing company buys it from me, ( they send me a check) and you in return owe the leasing company are you are liable for the terms of the lease.

Seldom is returning the goods even allowed, and if so, normally heavy penalties if even allowed

You may end up having to pay a lease company if y ou did not get permission to do all of that BEFORE you did it
