Wow super shallow, I remember you then you use to have a lot of irritation with even small %, you have come a long way, well done. Best of luck, I also have posted my pictures in here, only few and I have sent you more, I am darker than you, so the contrast is scary! Luckily nothing very obvious in my face, I hope stays that way.
Best of luck!

Yeah I suffer alotta irritation..
Its really important to persist on applying mono... because in some point your body will adapt to it.. and that's is just great you'll not fell any irritations at all.. only lightening of the skin.. (patchs ofcours.. )
About the face.. look its very hard to handle with patchs on the face
I remember I was embarrassed to go out.. forlong time..
And I didn't mention my neck.. oh only to think about it brings me back
But its over.. my dream came true
I must say that in that period I worked night job
So goodluck

@ super shallow - congratulations mate!
Can I ask... is your whole body depigged now ?
I remember you had so much trouble back then and you recommended strongly against monobenzone.
But I admire the fact that you did come back to share your success with us. Not many people do that once they lighten.
So how much of your body needs lightening now.

And how much time did this take you ? Does your lightening look natural shallow ?
Do people know your lightening..
Do they ask if its vitiligo..
Hoping for your response dude. Please

Well not super shallow at all if you had to go through patches, you are strong person, well done. Tell me how long have you been on mono is it a year right? Did you always did 20% or you had different strength?
Your face is done now but how long was spotted? Or say the worse time, as with time it evens out while you getting lighter. How long was the worse time if you remember?
The good news is that face is always to depig first in most cases.
Well done again

Lower body is the hardest it takes time, did you use anything to speed it up, RetinA or occlusion?
Super Shallow
Mar 17, 2010, 11:48 AM
Yeah RetinA..
sara_uk
Mar 17, 2010, 12:06 PM
yeah RetinA..
How do you apply it, just before applying or do you leave it for an hour before putting mono? Or is it in the mix?
I found retin a and mono too harsh for me, I apply once and then leave it again!
Super Shallow
Mar 17, 2010, 02:08 PM
I used it once in a while not on a regular basis
Because it was retin a 0.10
Very strong and very effective..
I used it only when I saw that my skin got really dry and hard..
How? Once in a 2 weeks.. before applying Mono..
But it was at the begaining..
I stopped using it

Yeah mono gang indeed, I been good, still got spots, I'm still in africa can't do much about it now until I go home then I take repig medication they start to lighten again, that's my long term goal, but right now I'm using hq 2% to maintain my current colour so the spots are not that obvious/

Lol
Then I guess I'm also joining the mono gang.
I'm on the drying and dead skin stage right now. Sigh...
Just like cracking cocoon, waiting to become a butterfly.

You will be a butterfly, and fly, that stage is just as the start, after that your body get use to it, so no pain only gain.:D I do not itch like I use to do, whatever mix I do, it just like using any cream but mono still working.
