Up to now, nobody have any concrete proof to confirm even the presence of life forms though water was found in quite some planets. But who knows? There might be somewhere, far away, some intelligent life forms... Astronomers are still looking for life forms.

Yes, I agree with Unknown008. From a religious perspective though, some people argue that only earth has intelligent life. Scientifically, no hard data has been found specifically proving life on other planets.

I will go out on a limb and say yes there are other life forms that are intelegent in the known universe. The reason for that is because of the vastness of space the probability is high for it to occur considering how much is out there.

The Drake equation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake_equation) predicts that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. Some scientists consider it almost inevitable. But for now we don't know.

Some people claim that there may be intelligent life on a planet called "Earth." But perhaps that has yet to be proved...
