So in the state on MA is it possible for a 16 year old to marry a 21 year old WITH parental consent without the 21 year old getting in legal trouble because of the age difference? I keep getting mixed answers so I want to know the right ones.

Marriage Laws in the US by Age (http://www.coolnurse.com/marriage_laws.htm)
I'm 19, not much older than you, but looking back 3 years ago, I can say to you, hun, you are too young to get married. You just are not mature enough. If you want the relationship to work, please wait a couple/years... if only for your boyfriend, and the sake of your relationship.

Jaime I did not ask you for your opinion and since you know nothing about me its obviously not accurate so do not answer unless you have useful information and a answer instead of a opinion that will not change anything OK?

First, please do NOT presume to dictate who can respond to your questions or how they can respond. When you post a question, you open yourself up to ANY answer from anyone who wants to respond. As long as the answer does not violate our rules, it is proper. You have the option to ignore any answer you receive. You also have the option to report any answer you feel violates our rules, which I am aware you did. However, The answer does not violate our rules in anyway.
Second, I will also point out that since you are asking a question about legality, this should not have been posted in the Marriage forum, which is for questions about marriage as a relationship. I've your question to the Family Law forums where it should have been posted. If you had posted properly, the answer you got would have been more inappropriate. However, Jaime did include a link to Marriage laws by state. If you had checked the link, you would have seen that the legal age of marriage in MA is 18 and that it requires a court order for someone under 18 to get married. Now its possible, that with parental consent, it would not be difficult to get such an order. So you really should check with your local probate court. But, once you are legally married, then there are no legal issues.
Finally, I happen to agree with Jaime. You are correct that we don't know much about you, but we do know about relationships between minors and adults. The odds against such a relationship succeeding are very small. You would likely be saving yourself some grief if you wait until you are at least 18. I also have to question a 21 yr old having a relationship with someone so young. There are very different development levels between those two ages. So much so that it brings into question any relationship.
