My wife and I just recently moved into a new home this summer and I got our internet up and running and everything was working beautifully. However since it started getting colder I noticed that I was getting booted from the internet sparatically. I figured out the pattern was that every time our gas heater turns on my internet stops working for a short time. Anyone know why this is or what I can do to fix it?

Might be the drain on the electricity when the heater cuts on OR ever thought of this? See if you get booted when you receive a tel call, guess you are dialup like me and what I do is forward calls that flow to my home tel to my cell phone when I get online. That way I don't miss any calls. Anyway, if you are dialup and have only one tel line and do not forward calls like I do, then have you disabled call waiting when you set up your ISP service? If the computer is in fact getting kicked offline by the heater kicking on, then maybe you have an electrical problem. If that's the case, I am not qualified to help with that. Good luck.
