Hi, my best friend husband is charged for aggravated menacing and domestic violence. We want to keep the first charge for sure, hopefully both. Long story short, The physical, and emotional abuse has gone on for too long. He is a bipolar who is not taking his medication correctly, therefore he has been running on a mania. He has been of using "God"to hide behind, and always convincing others that the other party is at fault. This guy is a professional con. Can someone give me some professional advise?

Only the DA will or can keep a charge against someone, and plea bargains are common. The victim has to go back and keep talking with the DA about the case
