Noticed yesterday that my freezer was not freezing and then today when I got home the fridge is not cooling. It's a kenmore Model 106.53522300 side my side doors.

This unit was built by Whirlpool. Most common problems are compressor start relays and thermostats. If the start relay is bad, the compressor will try to start for a few seconds every few minutes and the fan in the freezer will run constantly. If the thermostat is bad, it won't even try and no fans will be running. Knocking on the thermostat knob with your knuckle will sometimes get it running again. You probably already have your answer, but maybe this info can help someone else down the road.

You didn't say if compressor is running. If it is,check to see if circulation fan inside freezer is running. If not, try tapping side of freezer to see if fan will start.if not you will need to check the blower motor
