I have a Magic Chef LP gas furnace (Model EG6E100DC-1). Last week the heat wasn't kicking on in the morning and found that the draft inducer blower had cooked a bearing. I shut down power to the unit, removed the blower, sourced a new blower, installed exactly as I had removed it. The draft inducer ran like a charm, the igniter fired the pilot w/ a strong flame and after a few seconds the burner fully ignited. It stayed lit for probably 45 seconds (just prior to the normal time that the main blower would turn on in this unit) then went out. I turned the power switch back off (since the draft blower was still running) and then back on. The entire process above repeated, but the full burner burn only lasted ~20 seconds. Now burner doesn't fire at all. I can hear the relay clicking on when the switch is flipped, the wall thermostat is high enough to light, the DIB is running the whole time. The pilot has a strong flame. Any thoughts of what to check next? Any way to check gas valve?
