I am considering taking a job that pays $10.00 hr in New Jersey. I don't claim any dependents but am married filling separately. My wife is self employed.
I actually have a dependent but don't claim him.
Can you give me a withholding % for either case whether I claim him or not so I can
Decide whether to take this job?

When you fill out your W-4 form, that'll determine how much will be withheld per pay for taxes. Your employer's payroll clerk should be able to give you the exact figure. Understand that any job will require NJ state taxes to be withheld from your wages so that really isn't a consideration as to whether to accept a job. Also it's generally more advantageous for a married person to file a joint return so consider that as well.
