Beginng period balance + Deposits - Withdrawals(checks, ATMs, Debit card) = ending period bank balance - outstanding (not Cleared By bank for that period) = Actual Balance

I know, if it helps that a bank reconciliation is a remake or a basic correction of a bank statement where the balance in the end of the depositors statement must equal that of the bank statements ending balance. If you were to look at one it would be easy!
