We went to court and we have to pay a certain amt of money to this person we do have a judgement how do we go about making payments since we do not have all this money straight up can the people garnish our wages..?

If we have a judgement against us , the judge said we have 30 days to appeal how do we go about doing that... there is nothing sent to us in regards to the break down we owe , do we not get anything letting us know how to proceed this is in alberta ,canada

The time to work out a payment plan with them was long before they took you to court.

You can or could at court made a payment offer but now they may garnish your pay, attach your bank accounts and more.

So it would be worth a try to contract them and work out a payment plan

If you want to appeal, you need proper grounds. Just because you lost, or didn't show up, or can't afford the judgment is not grounds.

You can try to work out payment arrangements with the creditor but they are legally allowed to collect in any legal way possible. So if you send them only $10/month, they still have the option of garnishing your wages.

Usually there is not a "break down" of what you owe. The plaintiff usually lists what they are suing you for in the court summons. Did you not attend the hearing to argue what they were suing you for?
