My mother passed away on 12/14/09 leaving everything to me, her soul heir. The deeds to her 3 houses state that they go to me as well at her passing. My question is do I need to do anything additional if I wish to sell the houses?

Yes, have you actually transferred the deeds to your name ? Was this in a will ? Or were you joint owners already on the deed ?
