How many bulbs are there? Have you tested the bulb you used as a replacement? Also use the remote to turn on the light and then use test probes to reach inside the socket to test for power. What do you find?

It probably shorted the receiver when the bulb blew.
What brand is the receiver?

3 bulbs. I replaced with the same model bulb. And the remote does not turn the light on or off. Only the fan can be controlled by the remote. Hunter fan.

The fan is Hunter, but is the remote and receiver?
