I have a 1995 toyota t100 that was given to me the guy said it wouldn't start but if I hauled it away I could have it. Found out fast that the truck was not getting any fuel but was getting good spark, I yanked the fuel tank and pulled the pump. Discovered melted wires in the tank.! Bought new fuel pump and installed it tried to start the truck no luck tested wires found out that the blue wire running to my pump which should be the hot was dead. Ran external wires directly to battery from pump and could here pump working loud... cracked open fuel rail lots of pressure, but it still just cranks over and over and over. Any suggestions what I should try next I was thinking about mass air sensor what do you guys think

Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail to determine if there's enough fuel pressure.

Let me know if you see a check engine light when the key is on. By you saying melted wires at the pump, that would blow the EFI fuse and maybe others.
Without a CEL, it will never start.
