Can A Father Relinguish Is Rights If He Does Not Have A Relationship With The Child And Does Not Know Them? THE CHILDREN LIVES IN DETROIT MICHIGAN AND THE FATHER LIVES IN KENTUCKY

He can give up all his rights except for the right to pay child support.

If the mother of the child is remarried and someone else is going to adopt, and the mother and father agree for him to give up the child support then that can happen also.

But basically he does not need to really give up the other rights, since he just does not have to see the child if he does not want to, but he can be forced to pay child support and no way out of that.

First, for future reference, it's a good idea to borwse around the boards BEFORE you post. There are several threads where this question has been answered already. Chuck gave you the same answer as in all those other threads.

My question to you is why are you asking?
