Why do I want my ex-boyfriend to call me? He will not, I know that for sure. We have broken up twice and history is repeating itself. I somewhat still care and I wish we could be civil and say hello to each other. I do not want to get back together but it would be nice to talk. I want him out of my mind.

Possible relationships that now you want for your boyfriend's best friend. Pure friends. Just "say hello". But many memories are sometimes not easy to be abolished, and it will disappear by itself as over time. If you want to quickly forget them, look for exciting new community.

Talking only keeps him in your mind.

Moving on means seeing yourself as No.1. That can only be done when you appreciate yourself for all the greatness that you are.

Stay NC and start some new activities in your life.

Best of Luck.

Everyone goes through this! Well, most people anyway! When you break up you start thinking of all the good things they did and put them on some sort of pedestal. You want those times back. Reality is, they won't be like that and the relationship will be exactly the same! You KNOW this!

Being 'friends' is never a good idea. Maybe further down the track you can be. I have been friends with exes before after a big break. And it did kind of work, until they started reminding me of what I did wrong. Then eventually we drifted apart, they were very bitter.

Other times I was separated from an ex for a whole year. We said we would just be friends. Yet, nope. That couldn't happen. We ended up drifting back into a half hearted relationship, with a lot of resentment and blame. What a waste of time and heartache! SO many people say 'but we are different.' yeah, that's what I thought too!

To stop yourself try writing letters and not posting them. I find that helpful! Also, remove anything from your bedroom / house that reminds you of them. Don't need to throw them out just put them into storage. Really, read some of the stickies above! They are useful! Especially the one 'what to expect after being dumped'. I found it excellent! Even if you were the one that broke it up.

The longer you go without talking, the sooner he will leave your mind. You will soon find other things to do beside thing of him.

Try thinking about Talaniman this week. Every time your ex pops into your mind, start thinking of what Talaniman would say to you right now, what is Talaniman doing I wonder? I wonder what all these great helpers on askmehelpdesk are doing tonight. Then go out with some friends for a beverage!

Talaniman is making coffee in the Spider-man underwear his grandkids brought for him, and the wife wants me to change them, and try the Hulk briefs that also came in the same package, but I hate green, and I hate underwear.

Want to know what I'm doing AFTER COFFEE?

Tal, could we keep this a constant? An update on exactly what you are doing at any given time?

Love the undies? :)
