My dog is about 7 years home we have had her for about 1 and a half now and she has started to miss behave recently we have a cage for her which she destroyed she did not get out but has cracked and snapped in half the plastic tray and bent the metal bars we let her have the run of down stairs about 3weeks ago the first week and a half she was really good no mess to clean up she just pulled the cushions off the sofa but that is nothing to what she has done since then after the week and a half of being good we moved the cage out of the house that's when she started to mess everywhere up like pulling all the children's toys out having a poo then eating it I know disgusting and also chewing card board boxes up making a right mess she also pulls things off the raidiator and the ovan gloves off the oven please has anyone got any ideas why she is doing this or how we can stop this behavior we praise her when she is good and give a reward also she has toys

Ok first I just want to tell you that your post was really hard to read with out any punctuation.

Have you thought about trying obiedience classes or behaviour modification? Protocols for relaxation and deference could really help her out. Was your crate one of those all wire ones or was it like a carry on for a plane or car?
Is your dog spayed? What she is exhibiting is separation anxiety. You can easily help her with this with obiedience or behaviour modification.
How much excersise are you doing with your dog? How often is she walked? Do you have a fenced yard or is she tied?
My answers will vary depending on your answers.

Hi aurora_bell,

What are protocols for relaxation? The cage is an all wire one. Yes she is spayed. We let her out into the fenced garden first thing every morning, then she goes for a 5 minute walk off the lead on the fields, then when we arrive home from work she gets let out into the garden straight away has her tea then goes for a 5-10 minutes walk on the fields again off the lead.

Thank you

Nic

Hi Nic, okay well you could try a little bit more excersise, what type of dog is she?
I left 2 links above (the things in blue) that tell you what and how to do the protocols for relaxation.
Dogs, especially bigger ones need lots of excersise. With rescues it's hard to know where the anxiety is stemming from because usually you don't know much of their past. My best guess is that she is afraid she is going to be left again.
Check out those links I provided. Check into obeidince classes, and maybe see if you guys could extend her walks a little longer, or maybe just some one on one play time with catching, fetching or swimming (weather premitting). Have you or do you currently take her to any doggy parks? Is she getting socilized with other dogs? How long is she left alone for? What types of toys do you have for her while you are away?
