Hi Clough! Hi Stringer!! How have you both been!
I know I have not been on in a while but I am back hehe..

I had since given up last summer with the commercial bidding contracts.
Except I recently have received an offer from a Township in the Chicago/Indiana Area.

It is very very very big cleaning job that includes a Town Hall, Police Station, Fire Station, Public works, Park Garage, another Fire Station, Community Park center, and a Maintenance Garage!

This bid has well over 25,000 SQ Footage and requires multiple tasks.

The b id is also very competitive. I was told that there was 10 other companies bidding. Also, when I was there , there was a company called "Perfect Cleaning" that showed up at the same time.( For a tour)

To me it was the typical POLISH mom and pa company, which kind of told me that there was going to be underbidders. ( Since the daughter and Dad were speaking polish)

I need some help badly and have one week to submit!! Ahhh

I also have a family member that works for the town which I hope helps hehe

Hi, Cleaningman23!

Long time, no see! It definitely can help to have a "in" when going for a job!

Congratulations on receiving an offer to bid!

Stringer is the one who can help you the best with the bidding process!

Did we ever complete our thing about the advertising on the Internet? I don't remember...

Thanks!

Perfect Cleaning is very competitive, don't be mislead by what you think you saw Cleaning.

Any township, municipal, town, city and state bids are what we call 'read 'um and weep.' The lowest bid wins IF they meet ALL the specifications and requirements. When bidding jobs like this you need a plan of operation because of the various sites and control of each. These bids are controlled by laws.

Check to see if this bid is a 'set aside' bid. Does it have any minority requirements? A lot of them do and unless you are Hispanic, Black, American Indian or a woman owned company then you are not qualified to bid.
