Hello swb:

In most states, they have to give you reasonable notice. Some states have defined reasonable to mean 24 hours. You also, reasonably, can decline.

If the landlord is looking for a tenant to replace you because you have given notice, then you need to give reasonable access, that could simply mean an hours notice. If you have indicated your intention to move, then you have to expect the landlord to be able to show the unit.

Landlords may be allowed to enter the premises without notice for repairs.
