I have about 10K in debt, one was settled. Will a client still hire me because of this?

Depends on what kind of job you are looking at,some companys run credit checks,some don't. Do you have any judgements that might result in wage garnishements?

No, but my credit is not good. It is a sales job, not dealing with cash or credit cards. It is headhunting.
I live in Canada, not sure if that matters
