I have 8 year old daughter who is not disrepectful at home, but I receive lots of compliant for the school and friends that she is rude and disrepectful. When I ask her she deny. I have talk to her serveral times, but is not helping. Please I need a guide as how to approach this more.

What is it that she's doing, specifically, that is rude or disrespectful? What sort of discipline do you use? Its hard to give advice without knowing more details. Parenting classes are great. I've noticed some when I flip through my community's guide book. But there's also a lot of good parents on here who I'm sure would be willing to share their tips with you if you can give us a better idea of what's going on.

The first thing would be to talk to her teachers and to get a sense of exactly when and how this behavior occurs. What does the school say? How are they dealing with it?

Once you have more information then you can take action. My sister's daughter was behaving like this, and she found out that it was because my niece was having trouble keeping up with the classwork. So her behavior was born out of frustration and feeling 'left behind'.

Hopefully, your daughter's teachers will have an insight into what is happening and you can tackle it together with them.

I agree that talking to the teachers is very key. Especially if you are not having any behavior problems at home. When there is a problem with a student in my classroom having a parent-teacher-student conference can be very effective in finding solutions.

Not every time, but frequently problems in the classroom are linked to things that happen outside of school, maybe something that your not aware of. It might be helpful to think of things that recently might have changed or occurred.
