Tomorrow morning I'll be in for surgery to fix my very painful hernia.
Because I have a weak heart it a chancy thing to do, but the hernia cause me so much intence misery that I must have it done.
So I ask you please to pray for me and that the doctors, nurses, and technicians do their best.

I am now back home.
The procedure was successful but I'll be in a lot of pain for 2 to 5 days. Says the doctor.
I am experiencing that but it is not as burning bad as was the hernia.
So for a while I must use an ice pack and some pain pills, but I will heal, thank God.
Again, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Yes, as Jesus said only God is good.
Therefore all goodness comes from God even though our human goodness is not perfect.

I'm planning on taking a shower tonight. I've been advised not to do that. Perhaps I'll be able to keep the water off the wounded area?

No I do not for my wound is covered with a special plastic that will disolve over time.
I think that your type of wound could not have that, but many you could ask your doctor about it.
