A 1.1 *10^3 Kg car accelerates at 3.40m/s^2 . If the wheel exerts a force of 5.6*10^3N on the road, calculate the force resisting the motion?

Use F = ma again.
Here, find the resultant force F.
Since the forward force is given, and the net force is given, you can find the opposing force.
F_{net} = F_{forward} - F_{backward}
