This all happens in flordia, I have taken a non-legal DNA test and it proves she is mine...

My daughters mother got married to some guy, just a few weeks before my child was born...

He never signed the birth certificate, but from all my looking around for info it seems that their marriage would make him the legal father anyway.Their marriage has fallen apart since and he has took off, but they are still legally married.

Since then my daughters mothers (parents) have been rasing her for the past 2+ years, and have filled for temporary custody (since my daughters mom has become very unstable)..

What I am confused about is why they sent me a affidavit of fathers consent to temporary custody by extended family, When legally I am not seen as the father by the state of Florida?

I also plan to establish custody at some point in the future, and I don't want to sign this if it will make getting custody down the road harder..
