I have had several incident at night , I know it's a bad spirit because I remember this would happen to me when I was a kid. I feel someone trying to suffocate me with my blanket. I wake up and I try to get the blanket off my head but, someone is holding me down and allowing me to move. I call out for my wife and she can't hear me. Somenone often wakes me up at night by removing the blanket from me, when I turn to see if I could see them I get a cold feeling. I'm not scared I just want to know what they want.

It would try to kill me

Hey Jo2drew, this isn't like a chat room, so what happens is you post your question, and they you have wait for someone to come along and answer you. Sometimes it can take a few minutes, sometimes it can take a few days.
Sorry I don't know much about spirits and what not, but if you are patient someone who knows enough will come along and answer.

There are many people who have resident spirits. Sometimes they are malevolent and sometimes just curious. Sometimes they will show themselves to an entire family or to just one or two sensitive people in the home or business. You are not alone with your 'following spirits'. Find someone in your area to talk to, get a cleansing or just understand and live with it.

Many people have spirits follow them at home, at work or both. These are very sensitive folks who take their spirits very seriously. Go to someone who can do a cleansing or learn to live with your spirit. Some are malevolent and some are just curious. You're a sensitive person so just accept it.

Also it is possible that this is self created. Meaning that we all have energies and some people that perceive it too be bad spirits are really creating their own negativity which creates something more of a haunting. Some haunting are created within ourselves and others can be actual spirits.

When there is fear created. Fear within yourself about this it actually feeds into that energy or spirit. So like Clough has mentioned if you ignore the feelings, try not to be so fearful then they will leave you alone.

It can be really hard to do but if you always feed into that fear then the more it is going to happen. Just like the school day bully, if you keep feeding into that fear and always quiver from being scared they will pick on you more. Once you face up to them and show them that they are not scared of that bully and face up to it. Then most of the time they will go away.

It is the same in this instance.

Praying is good, but learning to trust and have faith of your protection and not let fear rule your mind you will be so much more better off.

I am quite good wiv ghosts and usually if you simply ask it to go away while speaking to it it probbaly will I hope it does work

Not that I don't believe you , but have you thought of talking to someone in person about this? Like a counselor, or perhaps a therapist, particularly one that is good with ghosts?

I use to have these things happen to me but I grew up but I feel like they r coming back.. I'm looking fir the same answers...

Jo2drew (and now lilmoni) - While spirits do not FEED on fear... they do use it. These kinds of spirits want their presence to be known and they want to keep you confused. You cannot ignore them away nor can you confront them by yourself.

Why it is with you is not always easy to explain. It may have something to do with a past family history or it might simply be a bad luck of the draw... by this I mean a spirit was residing somewhere when you moved there. No matter the reason it is there it can be broken. Jesus Christ gave His church authority over such matters and you need to contact a local ministry that has an understanding in this area.

I know my advice is not popular when it comes to these matters, but it is my advice nonetheless. I have found in my own life that the Word of God is true in these matters.

These are evil Jinn - they can be gotten rid of my reading some verses of the Quran and reciting some prayers. Listen to these two videos every night and they will eventually leave you.

You really need to focus your mind and heart on Christ. You have not indicated at all that you have spoken out loud to the spirit that you will not accept it in your presence and that you will not be afraid. Do not be afraid to feel in your heart and use the light of Christ. If you walk with him and know him, you will indeed be protected. It is obvious that you have opened a door somewhere or played with something you shouldn't have. When curious, sometimes that can bite you back. Please just keep that in mind.
