If there is a business interruption:transformer blew and there was no electricity to contd to work , some employees had come in to work and were told to go home . The adminsterator stated we experienced a brief business interruption due to area power outage from 6:46AM - 9:22AM. During that outage, the provisions of the Disaster Plan were implemented. Please observe the following timekeeping rules to record all absence that resulted from this business interruption:Exempt Employees:
Employees who were absent because of the power outage are subject to PTO for lost time;

What is your understanding of being salaried? Normally, a salary is an employment arrangement whereby the employee is paid by the week, month, etc. and not by the hour. Thus you would be paid a given amount every month without regard for how many hours you actually worked. If this describes how your salary works, the period of the power outage would not affect your paycheck.
