How long have you been trying? Many times the act of actually trying slows the process down due to the stress involved.

Well first of all rushing is your first mistake.

The more stress and the harder you try the less likely you will get pregnant.

It takes up to a year of trying.

Also stress and other factors can actually prevent you from becoming pregnant.

Do not look for the fast. Do not be desperate. Patience is key and maybe relaxing a lot more is the key.

Have been trying for at least 6 months.. its frustrating me and my partner that it happened so easily the fist time and now it feels like its dragging for a long time..

Six months is not a long time. It usually takes a year or more of actively trying before becoming pregnant. It happened so easily the first time because you weren't trying. There are stressors involved with the pre-pregnancy process.

These stressors can and will mess up your hormonal cycle (not your period) enough for the process to take longer.
