I live in a cement house with water proofed walls. My bathtub is installed on a poured cement floor and in a cement shower enclosure with tiles. I have a leak out from under the front side of the tub, coming out under the side that is opposite the drain. If it was a drain leak I would think it would come out under the side with the drain. I imagine that it is going to be hard to fix as the only way to check under the tub would be removing it and that would involve breaking cement and tiles. Is there anyway around this?

Do you have tile walls or an acrylic tub surround?

My bet's on tile walls. These leaks can be cause by the shower stream hitting grout that has shrunk a bit allowing water to seep past the tiles.
This is how your complaint reads to me.
If this is the case the solution would be to regrout the tiles.

I have tiles on the wall and what you are saying about the grout shrinking makes lots of sense. I used some white silicon tub sealant on the edge where the wall tile touches the tub, but the leak continues. A re-grout is easy enough to do. I think I can take care of that, thank you! New question, would I have to remove the old grout or just grout over the old to fill in the cracks?
