Hello,
I have no idea how this works so I'm just going to give it a try.
Well, I went for my friend's ex girlfriend. We fell for each other, it wasn't supposed to happened. I reckon the 3 of us didn't see it coming. The thing that I kept telling myself was that, they had already broken up, she was with someone else after they broke up. So its not entirely a back stabbing on my part. I knew it would hurt my good friend. Friend found out, couldn't accept us, and we kind of just fell out.
But I want my friend back. I know its not going to be the same again. But still, I would like to give a try, but I don't know how to start! I tried typing an email to my friend, but I got stuck after the 1st sentence. Help!

How old are you?
You can't force your friend to be friends with you again. Friendships can't be forced, they happen naturally. You made a decision, now face the consequences.
Though everyone has their own opinion about this issue, I wouldn't even consider dating any of my friend's ex. I wouldn't want to jepordize my friendships when there's plenty of fish in the sea.

Leave your friend alone, plain and simply, especially if your still seeing the ex.
well, I went for my friend's ex girlfriend.
Without talking to your friend first? That's not friendship, sorry!
We fell for each other, it wasn't supposed to happened. I reckon the 3 of us didn't see it coming
Give me a break, you had every intention of trying for her, and to think you didn't see it coming was a lie. That was your intention to begin with, for something to happen, and it did, or what was the point of going after them in the first place??
Leave your friend alone as any overtures of friendship, and apologies would only make it harder, and add to the lie you are already telling.
"it wasn't supposed to happened. i reckon the 3 of us didnt see it coming" Indeed, no one would believe you any way... I wouldn't!!
Looks like you lost a friend, and I hope she was worth it.

Took a sec to decide if to post on this or not. 1st, guys do we know he is lying? 2nd, who knows were love will find any of us. 3rd, the dating a friends x is VERY difficult thing, better be sure its right and neither cheated on the friend and be sure you know that things won't be understood by anybody. Fixing things with the friend 99.9% won't happen, sorry. Most people can't deal with it so don't try,let them come to you if they want. I don't know you or the whole story so I can't judge you ,not my place anyway. I am going to guess you had thoughts of her, hence the ,I went for my friends ex, statement, in the past, so don't look for any repairing the friendship,he won't buy it. Sucks but thems are the cards now play them. Been there, done that, lost lots of friends. And no I didn't cheat, cause, or in any way chase her. S^%t happened.
