I think my puppy got burned by hot water, my son gave him a bath but did not check the water temp, We just got him yesterday he is 8 weeks old and now he won't come out the cage, he whines when my son pets him he ld and he will not eat, he is walking OK in the cage no limping but he looks like he is frightened.

You take the pup to the vet, if he/she has been burned, then there is probably a lot of pain. WHY WOULD YOU WAIT IF Y OU THOUGHT THIS, AND HOW THE HECK DID THE PUP GET BURNED WITH HOT WATER @!!

Edit: okay, read your other post, your son gave the 8 week old pup a bath and didn't check the water temp first. How could you be so irresponsible as to let that happen. Take the little thing to the vet immediately ! And how many days has it been since this happened.

I absolutely despise people like you who write in and want to know what to do if a living creature like a baby pup has been hurt. And, as far as I know you haven't even checked back in for an answer.

Wouldn't you son have felt the temperature while he was bathing the dog?
If you think he was burned, then you should take him to the vet to avoide infection.
He could be scared because of thebath all together. Some dogs see it as a punishment.
I guess I am kind of confused because the point of a bath is to wash...
Also why did you feel he needed a bath?
You should be very careful that he doesn't get a chill, you may have to go in and pick him up and make sure he is fully dried.
