Hi, All!
I found a website that I really for listening to all sorts of music. It's Grooveshark - Listen to Free Music Online - Internet Radio - Free MP3 Streaming (http://listen.grooveshark.com/)
I can't think of many of the rock tunes from those decades, although, I know that I really liked a lot of songs.
Let's see, Dan Folgelberg, Elton John...
What might be some other artists and songs from those decades that might be your favorites, please?
I'm really partial to acoustic guitar and acoustic piano.
Thanks!

Them,I like whole lotta rosie by ac/dc
Sweet child of mine, guns and roses
Amazing and crying by areosmith,
Sweet home Alabama, lynard skyard,
Smells like teen spirit, nirvana
Sharped dressed man,zz-top,
Anything by queen,
And a little van halen, just for laughs.
I'm an 80's child clough.

Since you're from Ireland, Redhead35, I'd even like to know about some Irish groups. The Irish/Celtic type of folk music is also something that I love! I don't know how much of that would also be on that site, though...
If you have recommendation for another site, I'm all ears!
Thanks so much for your answer! :)

Oh wow, there's so many... but I'll tell you that while you music site is good, I'd go to Pandora.com (and no I don't work for them... LMAO) because if you can think of even ONE band you liked you plug it in and they play songs/artists based on your suggestion. You can also say whether you like the song or not and if you don't, it never plays it again. :)
But I'd say for me, I like the 80's best. I like them all. But especially Toto, Ambrosia, Chicago, Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby, to name a few. :-) Rate me. HTH!

Hi, WendyToth!
Thanks for informing me about pandora.com I'll check it out. I had originally asked about "easy listening". So, perhaps that might need to be defined a bit.
To me "easy listening" is somewhat soft as well as a little bit slow, using a minimal number of instruments.
Thanks!

Clough.. I posted my comment on your post and it didn't show up. I don't know how I do it but somehow if there's a way to complicate the computer I'm the champion. I agreed with your comment but wham it was there one minute and gone the next. Thanks for thiss question. Music is my passion and always has been since I heard my Dad singing "Danny Boy", when I was about four. He left my siblings and me a legacy of love, not only for the Lord and people but for Music. Thanks again..
I picture you as maybe a little Jerry Garcia and JFK.. a mixture of both and that is a compliment.

I've been to a couple of Broadway musicals when I went to New York City in the mid 1990's. I have been on stage as an actor or a musician in the pit orchestra for about 45 musical theater productions on the community and professional level.
It's in my bones to do those sort of things...
