I have what I believe to be a fist edition of the life of abraham lincon by j.g. holland.wondering its worth.

Someone is trying to sell this on eBay for $135.00 --

The Life of Abraham Lincoln By J. G. Holland, Member of The Massachusetts Historical Society. Springfield, Mass.: Published By Gurdon Bill. 1866. Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1865, by Gurdon Bill, In the Clerk's Office of the District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The Republician Press: Samuel Bowles and Company, Springfield, Mass. Do not know the original cost of this book. Book measurements are, 6 1/4" by 8 5/8" by 1 5/8" inch thick. Book cover has some wear. Corners are worn through outer material. There is minor worn, Torn and missing material on upper and lower edges of book end. The outer material of rear cover inner hinge is torn the length of binding. Book contains four full page Illustrations, including frontispiece. Books over-all condition is GOOD. 544 pages.

Thank you wondergirl.my copy has the engravings with the tissue guard.its some what fragile but you can turn the pages and read it.the front cover is missing.so I guessworth anything except to read if I fine the time.thanks again.
