Hi,

I am an international student with F-1 visa status. I traded some stocks last year for short term gain and gained a profit of close to 1000$. I was wondering which form should I use to file taxes and how should I proceed with this.

Thanks,

Complete schedule D (Form 1040) and report gain or loss on line 14 of Form 1040NR. Your U.S. Tax Return: U.S. Tax Filing Requirements for Non-Residents (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/03/us-tax-filing-requirements-for-non.html)
