I woke up today vomiting mucusy liquid and loose stool then later I found blood on her rug , she had her kittens 51 days ago and still nursing , is there something wrong or is it her period?

I'm no expert, but it seems logical that your kitty might be having her period with some serious side effects. I would call your vet and ask before worrying too much. If you think about it, a woman's period is always awful after childbirth, so why wouldn't a feline cycle be so much different? I hope all the little rascals grow up strong and the mommy turns out OK too.

There are only three choices for female cats. 1.) PG, 2.) In-Heat, 3.) Spayed. A cat can become pg quickly after the last litter. If they are not bred they can pop back and forth into heat.
Mucus and loose stool are most likely to be because of worms. Worms can also cause vomiting. It is way past time for the kittens to be dewormed anyway so make a vet visit and ask for dewormer for the kittens.

That's too funny!! Cats are like rabbits, though--they are either pregnant or in heat and I hate how they are when their in heat! :o

Normally they do it to clean their coats.
