Had an inconvenient problem happen to me today. I was changing a bad alternator. The process went perfect. The alternator is brand new and so is my battery. For some reason my truck will not start. It turns over just fine and the fuel pump is working, but no ignition.
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 V8 4.6L engine. Worked fine getting it into the garage not 2 hours before completing the removal and installation of the alternator. Took it out of the garage to jump and start it and it wouldn't go. Having a mechanic look at it tomorrow for really cheap through a family member. Just wondering what people on here thought of the problem.
