Hi Siinnderalla and all ladies out there trying to conceive. I am new to this forum as weel and I was looking real hard before I found it. Sooooo relived to hear that there are so many women with similar questions and concerns. As for myself and my significant other. We have been trying to procreate for 11 months now, where as I had a misscarrage last April. Since then we have been trying religiously every month. So this month my period is due the 12th or 14th of this month, Jan. Not sure by a couple of days, beeing that I spotted with intercource last month two days before my period was due. By the way... Can any one give me feed back on that? Does spotting with intercource count if it goes away right after and comes back as a period days later? What day do you count as day 1 of your cycle?
So back to this month...I've been having slight faint pinkish discharge. Not visable unless I vipe real deep. Having all the other symptomes of pregnancy. Cramps, headace, bloating and food cravings...Any one?
Lola. :)
Hi. Welcome to the forum.
First and foremost, when in doubt - Always see your doctor.
Second, Take a EPT or HPT, even though they might be negative does not mean your not.
Also, since trying so hard to get PG, make sure that you and your other half don't use the sauna or hot whirlpool too often - as when the prostrate is heated, it produces less sperm and it takes 72 hours at least to produce viable sperm - so the 'cooler' the better for those 'little swimmers' to get strong enough to become 'supermen' during ejaculation. Check the other sites for more help if you need it, and always come back to us for more, if you need it.

Maybe when we visit Skandinavia... Yea, the ept's are not so accurate all the time. Tried this morning. Neg, though my temp. is up @ 98.8F and no sign of my perion and minimal to no brown discharge... Time will tell.

L.:)You're right, time will tell. Please make sure that you check on those sites and/or with your doctor to make sure that saunas are safe and how frequently you can use them. Slight colored discharge is usually normal as long as it's only pinkish or a redish color - green, and brown with odor is an indication to see your doctor ASAP! Again, good health, and good luck.

Before going out and spending a lot for money of gadgets, look up the site Myth mentioned, and also some 'ovulation calendars' online. Also check with your doctor, and, if your other half takes hot showers and saunas a lot, tell him to take it easy on that department for a while, as the scrotum does it's best production of healthy and stronger sperm when kept cool. Some people forget those little things and spend lots of money for fertility tests, and other things. Mother nature has basic rules for the bodies, and you just have to educated yourself in the natural way of things sometimes.
Better luck next time, and please keep us posted.

Just checking in... Ive no idea if what I had was implantation bleeding or just a kooky period... It indeed was the strangest period Ive ever seen and was so short... I almost wondered if I imagined it... but I know I didn't... So now this is January... I've been waiting to see If my period would catch up... I know I am due this week... usually towards the end of the month for me... everyday I wait... but nothing... I haven't taken any home pregnant. Tests since earlier in the month... I don't really want to take any more... as they were all negative... surely one of them would have read + if I was pregnant... anyhow... Im just over here patiently waiting for aunt flow to show up... I've been really regular my whole life... so I don't know what's going on...

Eash of us is different, for instance, I was five months pg, and my blood test was still negative. The doctors can tell more by doing an exam since the cervix changes color during pregnancy too.
Also, by doing a simple ultrasound - reveals a lot - to include possible complications, so:
First and foremost, when in doubt - Always see your doctor.
Second, Take a EPT or HPT, even though they might be negative does not mean your not.

Anyone have any ideas about my situation? Sorry, I am just really nervous about it. I don't have medical insurance so I don't want to go in unless its something to worry about. Have been trying to conceive for almost 7 months now. I just would like to know what is wrong with me. Wish I had the money to go in when ever I wanted to, but I don't. This period only have 2 weeks between the last one an dthis one. And its just periodic bleeding. Usually when I go to the bathroom. I don't have hardly anything on the pads. And its not a lot when I go to the bathroom either. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to say, but it sounds almost like a miscarrige to me. You should try going to planned parenthood and see what they think. It might be implantation bleeding too though I kind of doubt it hun. The timing is a bit off for that. How have you been doing by the way? Haven't seen you a lot on here.

Jan 28, 2006, 05:22 AM
Just in case you had a miscarriage, I just found out about a drug that can be taken instead of having a D & C done - because if there is residue of old tissue it could cause an infection that could prevent you from getting pregnant later, so just this one time, see the doctor and get the drug, and make sure everything else is OK. You only have one body and only one reproductive organ which we women should always take good care of. I'm enlcosing the article about the drug here so that you can talk to someone about it, maybe you might get it without having to see the doctor, but you should also make certain that you are 100 percent not pregnant first. Wish you all the luck in the world, and please keep us posted.

Hi all. This is my first time posting. I have a very regular 28-31 day cycle. On day 23 of my cycle I had an episode of spotting and cramping that lasted for about half the day. I'm guessing that it was 9-10 days post ovulation due to my charting CM. It was very light red for a few hours then turned very pale brown mixed with CM. I did not even need a panty liner as it only showed after wiping on toilet paper. Then it completely stopped and has not come back. That has NEVER happened to me before. I'm on day 26 now. I did an HPT yeterday and one today. Both negative. The one this morning was tricky because if I stared hard enough I could pick up the faintest of "something" but no definite line there. I'm guessing that one was negative as well. My period is not due to start for two more days so I will test again at that point. My fiancé and I don't use any BC except withdrawel and there were a few times this month where it seemed that he pulled out a fraction of a second too late but I couldn't be sure. We are planning on trying to conceive soon and were only waiting for me to quit smoking and get an exam to make sure everything was OK! I do know that withdrawel practiced perfectly is not foolproof. In addition to the spotting episode, I usually have tender breasts from ovulation to period. By now they would be noticeably fuller and painful. This month I am 3-5 days from my expected period and they are just this morning showing the barest sign of tenderness. There is no fullness yet. This how they usually are at ovulation! Yesterday I was nauseous and headachy all day and damn near threw up while brushing my teeth. I went into a thrift store for awhile and the smell of the clothing caused me to gag which has never happened before. Today I feel a lot better. So... is it possible I am pregnant? Anybody ever followed this exact sequence and been pregnant?

Your symptoms and aversions to certain things do tend to indicate that you might be pregnant and your breasts don't need to be growing fast yet.

Also include your partner in this as he might be a contributing factor in preventing you in reaching your goal through stress of having to perform and also keeping his male organs under undue heat or some type of medication, or even a work-related chemical, which will reduce sperm production. I cannot explain your excessive bleeding, and the doctor should have done so a long time ago. I really wish that I could help, but you are the only one who can do anything constructive about your situation at this time. Please take your body serious and take good care of it. Again, if you are not satisfied with the current physician, go to another one and seek assistance there..
Have you and your partner gone to an infertility specialist? This might be an option to look at and might also help you reach the goal without any more stress. I think you've gone through enough BS and you deserve some positive help and encouragement.
Check on some fertility information on some internet sites and also keep a history of illness for the both of you to include medications currently taking and start over without stressing yourself out. I can well understand your frustration and hope that you receive the help you want and deserve. Good luck and please keep us posted. I, for one, am crossing my fingers for you dear.

Thanks Cherry. I have been told that I shouldn't go into the infertility stuff until it has been at least a year. It has been... 7 months... I don't know. I am definitely going to go in for an exam soon though. This is so annoying. I use to have perfect timing until I gave birth to my son, and went on the shot.
Chery
Feb 16, 2006, 02:34 PM
Just because the shot is good for some, it might not have been the right treatment for you. Unfortunately some physicians put us all in one barrel and expect things to work without conscientious follow-ups.
Each one of us is different. For instance, I was not supposed to have children because of my heart, but I managed to have one live-birth with three pregnancies and I also survived because I also had a cardiologist that was very good and I had to see my doctors each week. I carried my baby for 10 months because a previous IUD (the Dalcon Shield) ruined my uterus and damaged the nerves to tell the muscles to contract for normal birth and therefore they had to induce labor. If I had not told the doctors this beforehand, I might have lost my young lady who's going to be a mom herself in August now, and I might not still be alive. I do have cancer now, but still Stage I, and I'm a survivor - and I'm pretty sure you are also. And I plan on being around a long time to help raise my new grandchild with all the love it deserves so that my daughter can continue to study and excel in her present career.
It does depend on the caring and cooperation of the doctor and patient at the same time. So, do what you feel in your heart and don't let anyone discourage you. It's a fact, the world is rough and unfair, but we can't let it drag us down!
Again, you know we will certainly send our prayers and cross our fingers for you and your happiness.

I am more tired i did not get any acne and my boobs did not hurt a week before my mp. whitch it normally does. i am every 30 days on my mp like clock work so when it did not come i was surprised. I did spot for a week before my mp so i don't know if that has anythimng to do with it. My husband i have been trying to get pregant for 7 months now. When i took the second hpt it was neg but with a little bit of blood not enought to fill a pad or a tampon. So I am very confused at this point. My Gyno said wait 7 days to see what happeneds and this is day 6 whats the difference if it's one day. So i guess i will have to see and wait what hapeneds any feed back would help on this.

I am having the same problem. My last period was June 24th which put my ovulation at July 8th. My husband and I had sex around on and around this date. I am now a few days late and have been experiencing swollen, tender breasts, frequent urination, neausousness, headaches, emotional sensitivity, etc. I have taken 4 hpt's and all have come out negative. I just am beside myself as this is my first time to experience this. Then yesterday when wiping I had saw light pink and then today a little darker. No need for a liner, but seeing this has me upset that I might be starting my period. Everyone tells me this is normal, but I just don't know. If I am pregnant, when will it show up on an hpt?
J_9
Jul 27, 2006, 07:27 PM
If it has not shown up on HPT it is probably not implantation bleeding. It is possible that you are just having a light period, which is not unusual.
Your current period should have started around July 24 anywhere through Aug 3.
I would try again for an HPT after Aug 3, there should be enough hormone in your system by then.
Are you on any form of birth control? If so, what kind, how long? What is your age?
All of this is important for me to determine the possibility of pregnancy.

I was on birth control for over 10 years, but went off in June of 2006. I am 32 years old. My husband and I have not be actively "trying", but hoping that it happens. I might mention that I am always like clockwork and have never been late in the past.

Has anyone ever had this happen before? if so is it my period or implantation bleeding?
I had that happen to me I don't think it's that your on your period it might be that you are Going to have a miscarriage or already had one.I just had one just a few days ago.r u having any kinds of backpains?

Hi everyone,
Well I'm having similar problems. Around the time I was supposed to get my period (they're irregular) I bled for 1.5 days. It wasn't spotting but it was nowhere near as heavy as my periods. I've also had a lot of cramping that comes and goes (not bad) since a week before the bleeding, and I had frequent unprotected sex around the time I ovulated. Is the bleeding to heavy for me to be pregnant? My breasts aren't sore (tho they seem more sensitive) but I am tired, moody, and have had a huge appetite change. I urinated a lot anyway since I drink a lot of water so I can't tell from that. If I am I would be nearly 7 weeks. I can't test for a few days because I live out of town (australia) and it'll be another week before I can get to a shop. All I want to know is if anyone's implantation bleeding that wasn't just spotting. I just feel pregnant, but then again I could be letting my imagination go crazy. Good luck!

I had my last period June 17 - 20, we have been trying to get p and this month I was 3 days late. I started bleeding very lightly at first then it got a little heavier, then light again, the bleeding only lasted a day and half. I also had some cramping.
Has anyone ever had this happen before? if so is it my period or implantation bleeding?
Hi, were you pregnant? I am experiencing the same thing, my period is not due till August 3/08 (tomorrow) I'm usually 28 days give or take a day-2 days late. This is our first month trying to conceive and I've been experiencing pregnancy symptoms. 4 days before my period I noticed a light brown discharge then a couple of hours later bright red blood with dark blood clots, this happened for 1.5 days and today it's getting lighter. Took a blood test and it came out negative. If I am pregnant it could just be 2 weeks, could this be my period as the days are so close? Could the blood test be wrong? My periods are heavy for the first 2 days then stops for the 3rd day then resumes on again on the 4th day. Don't know what to think of all of this?? Anyone experience this before and if so what is this?

I have been off birth control for about 4 months now . My periods have been getting back into a normal cycle since I have came off the birth control. I am now a week late. Since I have been off birth control every month around my period I get bad acne, Cramps, lower backaches, headaches and usually have to go to the bathroom a lot. This month has been differnet I have had to go to the bathroom a lot but that has ended, mild headaches, lower backache, bigger breast, loss of sleep, vivid dreams every night, leg cramps and upset stomach. I have had some brown discharge but no cramps. Should I take a pregnancy test or believe my periods coming

Wow, this seems to be a common problem. My husband and I are also trying to get pg and my period was due today. I took a few pg tests over the last week. The type that claim to be able to read from 7 days prior to a missed period. The first one I took had a faint line after a couple of minutes, the next was negative (but an old test that I think may have expired) and the third I took yesterday was a clear no. I woke to cramps this morning that usually indicate the start of my bleeding but when I went to the toilet there was only the faintest hint of pink. I inserted a tampon anyway and went back to bed feeling sad that I wasn't successful. When I went to change my tampon a few hours later, it was almost mostly 'clean' when it would normally be soaked. I just removed my second tampon and it was the same as the first. My cramps haven't eased but I haven't got my usual back and upper leg aches. Fingers crossed but I am thinking that I am not pg.

Hia ladies. I have a similar situtation too I guess. So I've been charting for 10 cycles now. But my 9th cycle I lost my therm and haven't been able to temp. I'm in my 10th cycle now, and just found my therm recently so I still can't use it till cycle 11. This cycle for me has been crazy. I don't know for sure when I O'ed, but I'm defintely having some PG symptoms. My period was suppose to start yesterday or today. Well this morning I woke with my usual period cramps and when I went to the bathroom, I was bleeding... Or so I thought. I'm not really bleeding at all. It's more like light spotting. It's not red, but more like pink/brownish and sometimes even orange looking. And it just keeps getting lighter through out the day so far. I've been super super emotional for the last couple of weeks. My boobs hurt WAY more than a normal period. I have been peeing more than normal and smells are making me queasy. I have 2 kiddos, so I know my body PG. But I'm feeling confused right now. I took a dollar store PG HPT on Mon but it was negative and before my period was suppose to start too. Even though I've started spotting today, none of these other symptoms have gone away like I thought they would. So I was wondering, does anyone think I should spend the money on a PG test even though I'm spotting and everything else that's going on? Has anyone been in a similar situation to this one and WAS PG? I would love to get any advise, stories, opinions... Anything. I would greatly, greatly appreciate it. :)

I've had similar situation since oct 2009 missed a period but had the symptoms was never trying so my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. When I was a week late I considered pregnancy so I took a test and it was negative.three weeks later missed another period went to the gyn had a blood test and it was negative too had an ultrasound but nothing. I was having pregnancy symptoms except heartburn and sore boobs.I still believed that I was pregnant because I even felt pain down there that I have never felt before.by nov 21 I bleed lightly for pantyliner for 6 days. Doctor considered that my period but I didn't. By December 19 I was to get my next period and after going through the same thing period symptoms running to the bathroom thinking was here.that stopped for a week.took a test negative.then 1 week ago my boobs started to hurt which I have never had in my life and I started to cramp a little and with that said I bleed for 2 days couple times enough for a thin pad.idk if it was implantation as now 3 days since it ended I still have mild cramps my cervix is high closed and soft but tests are still negative with pregnancy symptoms.I will test again in 1 week.I got so used to the idea of having a baby now I'm trying for one lol. I would say for all the posts if there is a possibility that you might be pregnant being that your sexually active I say get blood work done and trust me it will relax your mind and if that doesn't help get an ultrasound done. Any bleeding after ovulation is possible implantation bleeding even after a light period you might still be pregnant. You know your body better than we do. We can't say for sure if your pregnant but if you feel different and know something's up. Then go to your doctor and find out for sure. I also recommend purchasing in bulk 50 pack pregnancy tests on Amazon they are the dipstick tests and its only 11 bucks they are the kinds used in clinics and health depts.you can test whenever you have a suspicion without hurting your pockets for $10 for one or 2 tests.im still trying as we are ready for our first child together and I just ordered them. I wish you all the best in your baby making endeavors lol. Wow I wrote a lot...

I have been doing the same thing and usually I ama very heavy bleeder, at first my cramps came then the lightest of blood flow to were I didn't even have to wear a pad or tampon. But, the next day it got heavier then lighter again. Implantation Bleeding can last for 3-5 days and is often mistaken as a period the blood can be light pink or a brownish red... its best to see your doctor.. or if you are trying to getpregnant like I am.. turkey baste, this procedure is done in the safety of your home. For more information on this procedure to make sure it is right for you, do a little bit of research (also do ovulation research for better results)..
Good Luck,
Hoping For a Little Miracle:)

Actually, I had the tiniest spots of brownish/pinkish discharge at 15DPO... I only thought to test at 23DPO (may have been able to be detected sooner, who knows?), and it was a VERY dark BFP. Never give up hope, good luck!

I have a question. I keep track of my periods and its usually 31 days.
Like I'd get it on the 19th 18th or 19th it really depends.
I had sex on oct 15 he didn't *** in me or whatever which was my 27th day and I was hoping to get a period on the 19th but instead got it on the 21st. I'm an athlete so its really normal. The flow was really normal like my usual period it didn't look weird
I haven't had sex after the 15th of October.
On nov 21 I got my period. (I expected it that day) IT WAS REALLY LIGHT. I didn't need a napkin. Just a panty liner. The blood was red and then after a few days it was gone... its so weird because I haven't had sex...

I am just a little lost. I had a very abnormal period. It came on the 18th and completely disappeared by the 19th. It was spotty, brownish red spots, but was only there when I wiped. I have taken a hpt but it was negative and that could be because it is too early to detect the HCG levels in my system. The last time I was pregnant, the doctors were not able to detect that I was pregnant until I was 13 weeks along. So I am really just trying to figure things out.
I am not sure if this is implantation bleeding or simply just a shorter irregular period. I have never had a period like this and am a little worried. It had no odor, it gave me slight cramps, but not like menstraul cramps that knock me off my feet for the whole time. I am just concerned. I have had all the symptoms that point to being pregnant, like sore breasts, crankiness (like I am emotional over nothing), I have been nauseous, some smells disturb me, I have been having these headaches that come out of no where, body aches, just having it all. But my test was negative. Which is possible, my sister took a test and it was negative. She tested a couple of weeks later and it was positive.
Should I just be patient and give my body some time? I have a DR Appt July 8th after I return from Jamaica. But I just do not want to go to Jamaica and get so wasted that I do put my unborn child in danger. Since the most critical times are during the first trimester. I just do not know what to do. I wasn't thinking I was pregnant until I seen this abnormal bleeding. Because I know our minds can play tricks on us. But if I am not preggos then something else is wrong. I have had all the check-ups where everything is fine so I am not sure whatelse this could be. Then everybody keeps saying I am next in line to have a kid. So I don't know.. Any advice?
